I dont think the AC system can permit a Difficulty setting..

i think it will be hard enough, considering that you cant go one man army anymore

plus the fact that medicine is now gone, and presumably, so is armor. (people didn't really wear armor back in the 18th century)

You could just make it so you take more damage the higher the difficulty you have it on....

Like imagine this:

1. Easy Difficulty - 5 Shots from Muskets = Dead
2. Normal Difficulty (What we have been playing on for the past 4 AC games) 3 Shots from a Musket = Dead
3. Hard Difficulty = 1 shot with musket = Dead

I would love to play on Hard just to feel like a badass and dodge bullets and use people as shields

DO you not think the disappearance of Medicine hard enough ?

AC1 wasn't exactly hard and you didn't have medicine there.

Completely different story with AC III

I can't think of any other ways to bump up the difficulty, other than removing medicine (which they've obviously done) and changing the Combat controls (which they've also done). I think the only other option would be to apply difficulty settings, which would have to be more than just taking more damage against musket shots.

As well as taking more damage, your enemies could also have more health.

It easily could in fact they started off wanting to make the orginal assassin creed as realistic as it gets one sword strike your dead. I don't understand why limit the game rather then add to it, im saying adding a diffculty setting not making the game impossible. hardest diffculty being no mistakes not being able to get away with 12 year old gameplay. It only seems fair if your able to kill the enemy in one hit why can't they kill you in one to?

A better idea, in my opinion, would be that in the hardest difficulty, the higher up guards can execute you as well. Though I don't think 1 musket shot should instantly kill you, maybe 2 shots with a musket would be better.

I like the idea of guards executing you..
