View Full Version : Downloaded Lost Archive and it glitched my 100% sync game...

I downloaded the Lost Archive DLC (xbox 360) a couple days ago, and when I went to play my completed 100% sync game, it showed up as 60% sync with only 13 hours of playtime on it. Then when I selected that game, it did a brief load screen of Ezio then went to an all-white screen with some random sound effects and won't do anything else. The problem has repeated several times, and the game was working fine before I downloaded Lost Archive. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix? Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should contact Ubi Support or try to reinstall the DLC?

Thanks, I've been reading the forums for a while, just never posted before. I submitted the question through the Ubisoft help form in your signature. Hopefully I can resolve the issue...

Obviously, I'm pretty annoyed by this. I don't think any response could have been any less helpful.

If anyone could help me out as to how to delete the specific DLC and patch update, I would appreciate it. I know that you can clear the cache which would delete any patch updates that have been applied to all games, but I really don't want to go through that and lose the patches for all the games I have played just for the off chance that it might fix my issue. I've spent a lot of time and money on the AC franchise, and it's pretty ridiculous that I would get such a canned, unhelpful response to a major issue.

Haven't heard anything further from Support. Deleted the DLC and the patch, the game is still glitched and won't load at all. Seriously bummed...spent a ton of hours on that game, there's no way I'm going to go back and replay the whole thing start to finish to recreate it.

edit - I just let the game idle on the white screen for a while and got a bunch of messages for completed Mediterranean Defense missions, so clearly it's loading the game in some way but just not showing any visuals or having controller responses. sldfjasldfja;ldjaf. Any ideas from anyone?

Your first reply from Support can sometimes be a Simple FAQ and that is normal. If it doesn't solve your issue please re-open your Ticket and let them know.

Did you ever get any resolution to this problem? I too have the same problem - bought the DLC and played through it then didn't touch the game until today and my progress is all lost.

Hi guys,

Please see the following Support FAQ in the issue and how to solve it.

If you have recently downloaded and installed DLC, the saves will now be bound together. If you are running into sync issues, please try the steps below:
1. Start by navigating to the storage section of the Xbox dashboard, and remove the AC Revelations title update and DLC.
- Start at the xbox dashboard.
- Scroll to the far right and access the settings menu.
- Choose System.
- Choose Storage.
- Select your Storage Device from the list and locate Assassins Creed Revelations.
2. Next, access the hard drive Device Options in order to clear the hard drive cache. Directions can be found in this Microsoft Support Article (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/settings-and-initial-setup/clear-system-cache).
3. Once done, please redownload your DLC content and return to the game. You will be prompted to also reinstall the latest title update as well.

That really sucks to hear, I guess it always pays to have back ups of your important save files on a USB stick!

The above is not the solution. Same problem, and the instructions did not resolve the issue. Has anyone ever figured this out?
