Shouting out to ESRB here, please make AC3 a Teen or E10+ game if possible because I was reading an article in GameInformer about AC3 and it looked very cool. I want to get this and not be yelled at by my parents or guardians. The front appeal to the parents will sell better for ESRB and Ubisoft and will let more people be able to play games with this kind of interesting stories. If possible, lower the ESRB rating a little. Thanks.

Wow, asking that on the forums is like asking an alcoholic to stop drinking, or a member of AC forums to stop wondering testicles.. ( Get it, wink wink? )

It cannot be done.

It says 18 on the trailer right now, but it might well end up being a 15 in the end like all the others. The 18 rating is only provisional, and it won't get a real rating until later.

It will be no less than a 15 though, due to all the shooting and stabbing, and the games have sometimes featured some (tame) sexual content.

Don't bother. It'll be rated M in America or Pegi 18 in the UK.

Just tell your parents this, they'll approve of it for sure:

EASY SOLUTION: Go into options, turn off blood. Then you have a violent teen game.

Also, get the other games, they're amazing.

All good things come to those who wait. Just think how happy you'll be when you hit 18 (or 15, if you live in the UK) and nobody will yell at you for getting a game that is actually geared towards your age group. ;)

If my testicles can;t wonder, then I just don't want to go on living anymore :(

No. Assassins Creed needs blood, sex, violence, and killing or it isn't Assassins Creed.

The first game was fine without sex. it made since for Ezio the jiggalow. but it really doesn't fit for a character like Connor.

Lol. I was kidding. But, really, we don't even know enough about the character of Connor to say sex wouldn't be in the game.

He seems more solitary like Altair. and i think he'll be more focused on avenging his tribe and fighting for justice then having sex.

Fine then, Desmond will have to. Desmond needs to end up having children at some point! So, I am thinking there will be sex involving Desmond!

Lucy's dead T_T and he will be way too busy saving the world anyway. why do you want virtual sex in this game so bad? you can get that on the internet you know.

He may need to mate with Eve to keep his bloodline going.

I think Lucy was Eve. if the DNA theory is correct and Adam passed on his power to his children then Desmond is basically Adam. and Lucy would've been the same with Eve.

Then this just gave me another idea...what if Juno had Desmond kill Lucy just for the fact of stopping Desmond's bloodline from continuing? What if she was trying to end his bloodline, so she did that by killing the last living descendant of Eve, being Lucy? Does this mean TWCB are against the Assassin order?

No, if you remember the end of brotherhood, it's pretty clear that Lucy is not Eve.

This. Juno says "Find her". If Lucy was "her" he would've already found her.

ESRB will keep the rating M and can't be intimated into changing it. It is M for good reason, though there is a option to turn the blood off.

EscoBlades
03-12-2012, 11:29 AM
It will be a 15/16 at the very least. Highly unlikely. Expect an 18 rated game. You'll just have to grow up a bit. Sorry.

Here's an idea, try to convince your parents! But I say that from guess work, mine trust me as long as I don't start jumping off of roofs and killing people with hidden blades :D

Game ratings are

designed to provide concise and impartial information about the content in computer and video games so consumers, especially parents, can make an informed purchase decision.

To find out what the process is for rating them check this out-
ESRB Rating Process (http://www.esrb.org/ratings/ratings_process.jsp)

While we appreciate your enthusiasm for the game, no amount of pleas can change this. ;)

a couple days ago you guys asked for suggestions for the leap of faith. Here is mine. Saw Dust. the reason? The Americas were one of the biggest producer of sailing ships during the revolution so saw mills would be common place. Along with the you would have all your smiths produce every thing from barrels to guns.

I understand your extreme, burning desire for this game, but I feel as though compromising the integrity of one of the industry's only trusted institutions so that you can bypass your parents' discretion might be a wee bit ill-advised.
