Please no. Gold weapons are so overused.

The weapons don't even look gold. More like orange flames. It's just done to look good I think.

As much as I want to believe it's real, and it looks authentic to me, why make the insignia gold as well?

It's the coating. It looks "gold" from a certain angle.

This is true. I've got me own. My cousin shipped me one from America, and yes when you look at it under a certain light it looks gold.

Gold weapons wouldn't even make any sense, gold is one of the softest metals around. It's completely useless for something like a tomahawk or a gun.

To make this absolutely clear: The weapons have a coating that creates a "shiny" effect similar to those found on Pokémon cards. They're there to be "flashy" so to speak. Under a certain angle (and with the right light) it can make them appear "gold". That's what this is. Stop reading too much into it.
