I have a rough idea for an Assassin's Creed based in England during the industrial revolution. I think cities like London and Manchester would look very nice cover in dark clouds from the factories burning coal. And there could be some kinda story with the struggle for controlling the mines and railways. i dont know, sound like it could go somewhere??

I think we'll probably get an AC game in England, but in the Victorian era. It won a survey that Ubisoft put out of possible future AC locations.

Still how cool would it be to get to play on the first inter-city railway from Liverpool to Manchester? It would make an awesome Assassination mission.

If they do a British AC, I hope they consider more places than just London. Bath, Edinburgh and many other places have great potential and important roles in history.

However, if it is about London then I think it would be a shame to only make it for the 1850-1900 period that most people seem to want. The great thing about London for an AC game is the almost ridiculously cramped nature of the oldest part of the city, but there's another feature in that so many of the streets are in the same position as they were many hundreds of years ago. For modern purposes, London could benefit from a grid system such as that in New York, but despite the potential after the Great Fire, the decision was made to pretty much rebuild everything as it had been before the fire.

I really liked the way we saw rebuilding and evolution in the architecture as the decades passed in AC2 and ACB, and all those flickering animations of the software reconstructing those new shapes. A London game which goes through a few different eras using different ancestors could be great for that, allowing you to learn your way around but also witness familiar locations transforming spectacularly.

The hidden files in PL about John Dee and Elizabeth I make me want to see that era just as much as the Victorian period, for example.
