i mean, they've got seasons, so why not have festivals? new years day fireworks and celebrations, christmas celebrations with people singing (it is a christian country) and loads more. another thing is; will they make the days longer and shorter based on what time of the year it is? mid-winter = short days, long nights. mid-summer = long days, short nights

This would create a great atmosphere and make me love the game even more I think.

True, it was linked to a specific part of the city, not a point in time.

Christmas wasn't something ostentatiously celebrated until the Victorian era. At this time, people went to church like any other holy day but it wasn't a scene of festive decorating or feasting.
