Dear fellow Assassins and Templars,

I just wanted to bring this to all your attention.

NEVER buy anything from identity Props (http://www.identityprops.com (http://www.identityprops.com/)) they steal art from the likes of deviant art and other art sites and sell themselves for profit.
i myself have just fallen victim to this .

On my Deviant art accoun i created an Abstergo Industries ID card:

This is something i created and has my face on it (sorry to you all for subjecting you to my face)

i did it for fun and for myself (even made some for my friends who wanted them)

This was created awhile ago and logging back into my account recently i got a message saying it had been stolen by identity props and was being sold.
They never asked me, spoke to me about it. they simply stole this and started selling it without consent.

They have apparently been doing this for some time and never respond or take down pages of stolen art. they just continue to sell these on.

additional they have a details section on each id card and the 'designed by' is a complete joke:

below is a link to their facebook wall (im currently reporting them on facebook (report ****on / scam site) and asking anyone who feels this is wrong, that people of our community are being charged for stolen goods as 'cosplay accessories' to do so also. if not just please let people know they're not to be trusted.

Thanks

Isn't there something fairly illegal about using your face without your permission?

I've been trying to find a name of this guy, but it hasn't been working too well. I'll let you know if I find anything. There are other forums where people have complained about them stealing images, but they weren't able to do anything.

I'm pretty sure that the fact they're making money off of Assassin's Creed related products without Ubisoft's consent is illegal. With a little luck Ubisoft'll take care of this.

I agree with you, but I think it'll take more than a little luck. I've seen similar problems as these, but nothing usually happens. This site will probably only sell about 5 of these in total (because they'll be so scared of ceroblade's face on the front; j.k. not because of the picture, but because they're such a small site).

As i said on Twitter Cero, whoever stole your art is the lowest of the low. To try and make money off it as well is just....i have no words.

I'll do my best to help you get it sorted out mate.

I'm assuming you would have more influence on Ubisoft's decision than the rest of us, so I'm glad you're willing to help Esco. This is just BS.
