Hello all, found some information regarding a simulator of the wright flyer and i am wondering if anybody here has purchased and flown this thing . I think it could walk away with the crappiest dogfighter award hands down http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Thanx TBCMIKE, but this simulator is aircraft specific with a very detailed flight model. If anyone has experienced it i would like to know if it is worth traking down in my neck of the woods (Australia). It's apparently only available on-line or at certain museums in the United States. It looks like it would be a good addition to my sim library ; which actually only consist's of F.B. and Lock on ( and 2 free spaces for aep and BoB http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif).

I think you're talking about this one:

Honestly, for $49.95, just pick up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 that has the Flyer included. Also, there are plenty of freeware pre-WWII out there. Just search Avsim.com and other places.

Good point http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I have FS2004 and the Wright Flyer is ok, its a challenge. For me flying 1 type a/c wouldn't last long.
