Okay so i was playing the game and whenever i fight people i hear the "Azan"(islam-call to prayer) you can hear "Allah-hu Akbar" (God is greatest)in the background with music played. Thoughts?

Jesper Kyd is known for implementing native music and sounds in his work for Assassin's Creed. I wouldn't be surprised if he's included some well known muslim prayers/chants in ACR. He's done so in AC1 and included some catholic ones in AC2 and Brotherhood. It emphasises the distinctiveness of the setting.

The track "Cesare Borgia" from Brotherhood is a prime example of what NBST just said.

Yep. Even one of my all-time favourite tracks has some Middle Eastern chanting going on:

AC2 and ACB has a bonus track with some very conspicuous prayers:

Aand Revelations, as the OP said, has some as well:

Not that I have a problem with it, it just seems peculiar to me

The AC franchise always focuses on the Arab feel. I think it's awesome.

Yeah, in my recent playthrough I went to the Thieves Guild and if you just stand there you hear it, like a lot.

If you're referring to Brotherhood, then the track that plays there is Echoes of the Roman Ruins (one of my favs from ACB)

The style of the singing isn't exactly canonical, but it does have some religious Latin text.

It is not muslim, but in fact christian, nevermind, I think this is the best "prayer" on the series, I would love to know the "lyrics"

I think its great that Jesper Kyd included that.
I think a lot of people forget that the original "Assassins" were Muslims. The series downplays that quite a bit - I feel - but they did have the faith; they simply did not fight alongside the Muslim army during the Crusades, just like not all Muslims today agree with the religious wars. Therefore, although characters like Altair and Ezio do not imply any religious fidelity, I think it's completely appropriate for that sort of music is present to emphasize the setting of Medieval Syria or Renaissance Constantinople - which of course at the time was heavily Islamic.

I would also harbour a guess that it was also meant to add another level of intensity. I've always found that religious hymns are very powerful songs - not necessarily the content (Since I cannot understand it) but the way it is sung. It's haunting and beautiful at the same time and it helps set the AC universe on another level for that reason as well.

I actually assumed when you heard the Call to Prayer that it was background sounds like the Heralds shouting; just part of the environment. And I thought that was interesting because it is something you would have heard at different parts of the day. It adds that extra level of realism.

the Call to Prayer is implemented with music whenever you are in high profile(i.e.-fighting)

Why is this considered weird or remarkable in a game that's set in Constantinople, of all places? The majority of the populace is clearly Muslim.

because since 9-11 they have been on everyones(well not everyone) radar ok, danm conspiracy debunked, that is why before the towers no one gave a pooh pooh about them so it is only to be expected that when you hear about muslims or islam you think crazy things. That is probably where his FINDINGS strike as crazy to him because of this mentality. It is not hard to figure it out guys c'mon.

It's not that we haven't figured it out. We ask these questions to point out the lack of logical reasoning behind it.
