...trouble is that it takes very long time to load on my PC (once when the game is loaded and main game screen appears, it takes additional ~5 mins to load). I have obsolete 1GhZ Celeron, 256Mb SDRAM and 56k modem. For me online playing with IL-2 MAT Manager is impossible. I do not have that time to wait... Currently I have IL-2 MAT Manager v1.90. I figure that on fast machines it takes short time to load?

Aside from that, program is outstanding. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've noticed that, too. Long loading times. I have also problems quitting to desktop. And I have the standard machine, 2.8 512Mb. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

But it's worth for occasional campaign single sorties. It gives the standard stuff a look far more realistic. A great add. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Not for the impatient, tho. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

512 Mb Ram is like a minimum just for playing FB alone . . . . . . . & even then its not really enough

FB is a CPU & RAM hungry game !

but im biased . . . . . i dont fly anymore without Mat Manager also running , its just soooo much better than the default markings

Badsight please post your system specs and approx. time required for IL-2 MAT Manager to load... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif. I will renew my hardware configuration soon http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, so I'm eager to know what is the minimum CPU speed required for IL-2 v2.04 to run properly (I will most likely keep only my VGA card FX5600)?

This program is truly exceptional... one of the best 3rd party utility for IL-2. I use it all the time offline, but like I posted above only bad news (at least for guys with low end PC's like me http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif ) is that it takes around 5 mins to load on my comp.

i'd say you get what you pay for but with mat mgr you get SO MUCH MORE than what you pay for. is there any chance you make "changes" between loadings... i've noticed only the first load takes a long time and as long as i make no changes subsiquesnt loads are much quicker
