It is not sunset. The sun never went down. They're flying between 02-05, in the middle of the night http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

A sun that never set's... that is something I'd really like to see.
Must be Beautiful... although come Winter time the darkness must be Very Dreary indeed.

Not dreary, not at all.
It's beautiful, in different way.
Think of white snow and blue sky. Then white snow and black sky, with the thousands of little stars in the skies.
The pitch black nights, with clear white ground, is quite likely even more magnificient experience to a foreigner than the nights with sun never setting.
Both are fantastic experiences and I'm glad I live here, so I can feel and taste both ends of the scale, enjoying all of it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Except no IRL flying during winter http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Grendel-B... Here in New England we also have a bit of Snow and Cold in the Winter! LoL

We can range in temperature from about -10F in the winter without the Windchill, to 100F in the summer.

And snow...

Here I am having a bit of Winter Fun in the driveway with the Trusty Snowblower. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But we don't have the darkness that you have in your parts during the winter... the shortest day around here, we still have about 9hr's of sunlight.
