Hey Ivan, just to point a little thing, hope not to bother you! On the thread topic you made about this in the General you wrote "3.02 patch" instead of 3.02b, for instance I clicked there thinking it would link for a final 3.02 but dedicated server in 3.02b versions (as you pointed the "b" exe files).
Best regards.

OLEG HELP!

This is not Dedicated server related but for lack of a better place to post, I posted here..sorry,

I'm coming here from the cfs community and trying to bring my squad to pacific fighters. I cannot host and have had no response from ubi support, and no answers here in the forum that have helped.

What must I do to host a game over the"Play it on UBI.com" server?

I have a router and have opened ports 21000 and 21010 and a dozen others. People joining my room get a 'timeout error' and cannot connect.

I wish to explore your products with the community of virtual pilots that i come from, but the lack of being able to host is forcing us back into the microsoft market.

I have the Pacific fighters stand alone. I have read the posts and assume that if I purchase IL2-FB and AEP and install pacific fighters over top and install hyperlobby that I can host then, using hyperlobby.

I cannot justify spending more money on UBI products on a guess that then I can host, when the product I have already purchased doesn't do what it claimed on the box. "online mutlti-player rooms up to 128 people"

Some help would be appreciated, Thanks!

To the best off my knowledge you should be able to host the standalone through Hyperlobby.

Most people can't host through UBI with a router. Since you are running PF standalone you will need to set a custom path to the exe. So will your squadmates who have the PF standalone. (Not many standalone players are online)

If you have problems at Hyperloby just ask for help in the chat. Usually someone will respond.

I strongly recommend the upgrade to the FB+AEP+PF combo that is what most online players are running.

I am not Oleg... but i`ll give it a shot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

First of all, in your router you have to open port 21000 for both protocols.. TCP and UDP. Also, it depence on what type of connection you have... With some types of DSL you have to specify default IP in IL2Setup, network tab. Also, some type of routers (Old ones) might give you trouble and you might have to set router as DMZ... So as you can see, there is alot of but`s http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Second of all... you might find maybe 50 ppl on the best day @UBI...while you can see up to 900+ at the Hyperlobby in the same day http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif So, obviously why bother mate.

Third of all... you need a monster PC to host for 128 people and monster connection.. but there are servers at Hyperlobby that are capable of that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And fourth of all, please start a thread about your problems with a little bit more information on the connection type and router type here: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=frm&s=400102&f=49310655
And this community members will do their best to help you out. Or ask any of those questions at the Hyperlobby. There are bunch of people that know what they talking about at any given time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Cheers!

Router doesn't work with the ubi.com.
The autor of this software should contact Ubi.com team that get info how to do it.

Router was designed not by us and as I know it is designed for only Hypper Lobby where it works prefectly.

Thank-you CrazyIvan and Thank-you Oleg!

So, the short answer is. Use hyper lobby and don't bother with the UBI server because it will drive you crazy trying to make it work. LOL

Ok, thank-you gentleman!
