Yay, I'm the first one to say beer.
I don't do that online stuff anymore.
Not since that unfortunate time when I was booted for being D&D on the 'Job'.
It was a once'er, honest.

beer

Why? online/offline, it doesn't matter, the results are the same - KIA. Wish it wasn't so, but thats the facts. At least I can meet my demise over and over while enjoying my favorite non-work cold adult beverage. Oh yeah, beer is alot cheaper than my my licensed pharmacy drugs. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Hmmm...let's see now..What intoxicant makes you a better online pilot?

I have no scientific evidence to support this, but I'd imagine it's the same one that makes you look like Mel Gibson and the toothless hagg at the end of the bar look like Michelle Pfeiffer.

There are myriad valid reasons for self medication with mood and mind altering substances.

Being a better anything is probably not on the practical list.

A good cold brew tastes great, but I have to keep taking my hands off the controls to drink it up. Bad deal when your in the thick of things.

So, a couple of shots of whiskey before takeoff and I'll be feeling fine by battle time. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

But, I realy do fly worse in this sim when buzzed. Other sims were better for the flying impaired.

I like to drink beer out of the house & then 'grab the joystick' when I get home. Otherwise I like to drink whisky in the house - usually Famous Grouse in my black, sugarless coffee. If it's a single malt then it's straight.

I don't know whether you spelt the name of the beer right either, but Glenlivet ain't spelt the way you spelt it! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

1st Choice:
Not crashing into the ground. I'm so good at it my squad named the manuver after me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

2nd Choice:
Tanqueray & Tonic. Becuase there's no hangover the next day. (at least for me. Stoli's good that way too.)

3rd Choice:
******ss. Not much beats a room temperature pint of this stuff.

I used to smoke a lot of Canadian Green, helped calm the nerves, ablility to have lighting slow reflexes, the urge to eat your microphone , and the tendency to never get pissedhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gifover getting shot down, crashing or lagging.

now i have a brew instead i dont know if it helps or not...

one piece of interesting information about beer is that if you have half a bottle you can retain information upto 50% more then a person who does not drink the beer. this was tested. after drinking more than half a bottle the affect were reveresed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Mate if your drinking Glenlivette,it must be an aftershave, cos the single malt I hope your actually partaking of is Glenlivet. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I usually take three hits of acid, wait an hour or two and then fly. It's much easier for me to find enemy aircraft because they're all bright colors, and I can smell them from billions of miles away.

Durrrrrr....

I, like all aces, don't trip and fly. Fact.

What? No one imbibes the fermented juice of the grape? Having moved to NorCal some time back, I find myself needing to 'do' the wine-country thingie from time-to-time (nothing beats free samples, lemme tell ya). Right now a bottle of a nice San Giovese from some lesser-known Sonoma vinyard is what's happening http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Don't get me wrong, beer is still great--particularly LaBatt's Blue.

When I'm in the mood to imbibe and fly (OK Fri or Sat nights after the wife and son are tucked in and Da's got some quite time) I'll have a couple of fingers of Gentleman Jack neat or some Jamison Irish whisky. Both great for sipping during those Longggggg transpacific (yet realistic!) co-ops http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

ImpStarDuece

Its situation dependent for me: http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If i'm flying Spits or Hurri's (or a Mossie, SOON, SOON!); Early Grey tea with honey (quite), or three fingers of The Macallan 18 Y/O sherry cask, french oak finish, straight with two cubes of ice in a crystal tumbler. No, i'm not picky.

If i'm flying American aircraft, Jack Daniels or Makers Mark, straight up, in a double shot glass, celebratory swallow after every kill.

If i'm flying Russian Aircraft has to be Vodka, but its French Vodka, Grey Goose, chilled and neat. Got a real Normandie Niemen thing going on. Otherwise its Absolut, from the fridge, and the bottle usually has a pair of vanilla beans inside it.

If i'm flying Japanese aircraft its either a Japanese single malt ("yes, for relaxing times, try Suntory times", its actually VERY, VERY good. Try the 15 y/o) or the local shochu, in a traditional earthenware cup that I made and fired myself. Hey, its what Saburo would of drank, he was from Kyushu.

If its a German Aircraft its 500ml bottles Schufferhoffer Heffewise (Blonde Beer) straight from the neck or some of that Stroh rum stuff (which is actually austrian). At 80% alcohol (thats 160 proof boys and girls) you could probably use it to pep up V1 rocket fuel. Afterall the Germans used to do it with unaged Clavados!

At least I dont fly the P.11, otherwise i'd be tempted to buy some Polish Pure spirit (92% alcohol).
