for the corsair you have to wait..eheh..it was really difficult to capture it in flight and cluds didn't help me on this http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif . So I have to make a goo choice of the clips.

...sure...duxford is a "specialized" show..the fact that in lausanne there was WW2 birds is a kind of magic....and i'm glad of this! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

thanks for that; I'd never seen a XIX running before.

I particularly like the fire tender at the end; I haven't seen one of those for thirty years! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The counter rotating props are a pitiful British attempt to make a Merlin sound as cool as a daimler benz http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif. Awesome clips. Thanks for posting.

That Spit 19 m8 is powered by a RR Griffon engine as all late Mark Spit's were. It sounds like that in real life http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Contra-prop XIX??? When this very plane was on display in Chino (Planes of Fame) the original Griffon was on an engine stand next to it and the original five-blade Rotol was hanging on the hangar wall. It was easier/CHEAPER/cooler to install a serviceable Shackleton motor/prop assy than spend the cubic bucks on the old setup. Can't blame'em (them, the ones responsible), they got it in the air. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Just finished the Corsair clip...ehehe sorry but the 70% of the video are taxing movements http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif...I really had problem to follow it in flight http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif ....but at least you can see turning the engine http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I will upload as at possible

....next plane?
