Since I haven't received much specific feedback about the interlude tracks I've included in my previous camapigns I'd like to know if it's worth spending the time on making some for my next campaign...

BTW I have done 40 missions so far - so it'll be ready in about 2 weeks! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

It doesn't matter to me, I skip them. Looking forward to the next campaign.

If you have read the title of the thread then what's the point of opening it if you're not going to vote? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif

I think tracks between missions are a great way of setting the scene. Could be almost as important as the Briefings.

Air war normally is in support of ground war, and the track is a good place to show what is happening in the ground war.

If you don't have aircraft in a track you can really pile on other vehicles and keep high frame rates.

You might show a force of two hundred tanks streaming across the plain towards town, in your track, then in the flight mission itself perhaps you will be escorting bombers, flying at 3000+m - you don't need many tanks on the ground because they won't be seen. But because just before you fly the mission you were shown what is supposed to be going on at ground level, you can use your imagination a bit better you are flying over a huge ground battle.

Those tracks from the RAF campaign were the alsations genitalia. You got to include them! It wouldn't be an Extreme_One campaign without the tracks! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif

Voted for tracks, loved them in all your campaigns, really felt like being there.

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifKeep doing the tracks if it's not too much hassle, ice to see them.
Would it be possible to make the missions so that IF you wanted to finish/complete one even if you havent succeeded you can.I know it sounds like cheating but there are 1 or 2 missions that really seem impossible to me and just have stopped me from proceeding.
The one i am stuck on is in the Real Deal[mission 20 i think ] where you are waiting to take off and your base is being vulched by 262's.If you wait in line to take off you die,if you get airbourne [via the taxy way] there isnt anyone else that seems to be able to get airbourne and help.
Oh well,just a personal wish thats all,ta

I'd rather keep it hard and challenging... otherwise I lose interest.

You know if you get stuck you can always open the offending mission in FMB and change the mission objectives http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Alternatively maybe Extreme_One could make two distinct installs of the campaign Easy/Hard. The easy one lets you proceed regardless of whether you acheived the objectives.

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifDont get me wrong i'm not after making things easier,in fact you can select the difficulty settings yourself. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I am re starting some of the campaigns and making the settings harder but there are one or two missions that just beat you up over and over again.
As for using FMB to alter it,well im not really very conversant with FMB and find it too hard.
But yes it would be nice to be able to jump a mission ,maybe you have to fly it at least twice before you can hit "apply" or save the mission until the end of the campaign so you can try it until you succeed without grinding the campaign to a halt. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Let me first bore you with praise. I have been flying flight sims since F-15 Eagle commodore 64. I played EAW for 6 years straight every mod in the book. I recently got into the IL2 scene. Your RAF full campaign BoB is the single coolest air sim related game I have EVER played in 20 years. Please do whatever it is you did there. More tracks, more chatter, more of your campaigns.
