Those look pretty neat, but I don't have 68 Euros for it. Not to mention I would get my rear side chewed for buying such an item. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Safer to spend on such things as computer parts that cost much more.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yeah, sit in front of your computer with those on playing SH3. See if you do not get a laugh.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The last thing I heard as the British boarded my boat, "Boot hoch halten sonst wird keiner gerettet!"....Keep the boat afloat or no one will be rescued! My war was over....

Dear Santa,
Forget the bike this year (we're married now) I'd like the u-boat goggles please.

(sorry mrs hueywolf, just joking)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

You can judge the character of a man by the condition of those around him.

Yes, they worked kinda like sunglasses, but were used not to lose night vision if you were going back to the bridge at night.

Exactly! In Das Boot!, the crew wears it before the night attack against the convoy.

The goggles are red-filters, which means they only let pass the red light. This is low energy light. As the eye is not as easily blinded by the red light, the pupil widens. That is also the case at night and neccessary to see in the "dark".

Actually in "Das Boot" it's one of the famous mistakes: German subs did not have red lights. If they had like in this game or in the movie, the goggles wouldn't be neccessary. If there's only red light, there's no need to filter all but red light. Still, in the movie they use both. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
