Ok, the ME 109 is over modeled, the Hurricane's .303 guns do not have the correct number of rounds, and the clouds are too transparent, except where they are too thick. Besides, better pilots than me can shoot me down, which violates the age discrimination act in the US. (I'm 57, a true old fart)

There, have I filed the first flame track on Storm of War!?

I'm excited. This will be great! Is there anyone besides me that realizes that if this is released just after Thanksgiving in the USA that it will be 5 years after the first release of IL2?

Hard to believe!

Thanks, Oleg and crew for reminding me that it's only our mental attitude that makes us old!

No earlier than April 2007.

Be sure.

Oh, and let me be the first to call for a flyable Boulton Paul Defiant.

Darn. Guess I have to be the second. Man, you could rack up the kills on a dogfight server in that turret.

Ben Affleck kicked some major German butt over there. I want him on my team, or maybe Tom Cruise.

Isn't that _exactly_ what the original proponants asserted?

I will fourth the motion on the Boutlon Paul Defiant, truly a unique aircraft in history and would be a lot of fun to experiment with, even if I get shot down a lot in it. Those are usually the most fun missions. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

The B-P Defiant was concieved as a bomber destroyer, not a fighter as such. Still there were more than a few LW pilots who fell afoul of that turret early on, because they confused the Defiant with a Hurricane.

Yes Affleck did...but ironically enough...he did so in 1941 when there was no Battle of Britain. Yet another plot hole http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

But the fighters were right...the Spit Vb with cannons and 109Fs. Don't expect those in BoB... not right away http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
