Hey , Well i just bought the ultimate flight collection and currently working on Pacific fighter. I need some help. I can't do a loop in any plane in Pacific fighter. But i can do them just fine in IL2.. I am using the same methode i use in IL2 to do a loop but i keep stalling after about a 15deg pitch up then its splash into the ocean. Anyone got some tips for doing a loop, currently flying the P-47.

sure you got enought speed? from my experience at low altitude the 47 istn the best plane for those things and need a good speed to do it. But uhm...when you got speed loop arent a problem...you sure you pull the joystick back enought? Maybe you wait too much to pull it when you are pretty at the top of the loop and doign a loop you loos great amount of speed if you do it slowly. Try to picl up another plane more agile: try with yak or zeke. those planes can do those thing at really low speed without problems and without stall.

Or if your control sliders are too high you might be pulling too much, and doing a high speed stall.

Thanks for the info. I Thought my air speed was good but i will try what you suggest.

At the top of the loop cut your throttle down to 20% or so as the engine is likely to torque you over. I'd recommend a speed of 450kph or 500kph (in the 300mph range if I'm guessing right) before trying to do a loop in the P-47. Its not really a plane meant for that sort of move.

Says a lot about the difference etween the IL2 FMs and the PF ones eh?

Well after trying the higher speeds I have been able to do the loop manuver a few times , not all the time but guess its gonna take a bit of practice.

Try doing a loop in the B-29.
