When i pick germany for example they have a north, south, east, west. What does this mean? Is there a place the explains all of the different campaigns? Thanks for the help.

North, South, Center.
Those are Army groups.

Flight units support those army group efforts.
For instance elite JG/52 (on 109s) flew in "southern" sector for a while......

Look at the map of those sectors, you can even google it....maps in the game - it makes sense.

Depending of where I chose, will there be different missions? Are the missions in north, different then the ones in the south? Also, is anything different depending on the squadron I choose?

IIRC, the missions vary between the campaigns only in that they will be on different maps. You may get the same kind of missions (free hunt, ground attack, escort, etc), But in the North campaign you might be on the Leningrad map, Center the Moscow map, South the Kuban map. But, there are several maps available for each campaign, and each map is a starting point. Those 3 I mentioned are just examples.

Also, you are given a list for each squadron you can fly, and while I believe the squadrons are different for North, Center, and South, they don't really change the missions much except that your 109 or 190 will have a different squadron insignia.

Even though these campaigns are dynamic, there are quite a few constants. You will see mission briefing repeat on occasion, and the planes obviously remain the same, but you will see different front lines, and your fellow pilots might be different then in other campaigns.

I'm working on a Tempest campaign over Normandy right now, and I'll see quite a few mission briefings that repeat, though the waypoints and when and where the enemy shows up are different each time.

Thanks Crucislancer for the quick and informative reply. I understand now that the only thing that change is the maps.

Things that changes are:

-your planes (you wont be able to fly ALL axis planes on all maps by default)
-your opponent planes (ie. you'll never see MS.406 in the air if you choose Southern sector)
