Forgive me if I'm running through open doors. As you know, Sturmovik Technika was closed sometime ago. What is not widely known (I think) is that large fragments of this site are preserved at archive.org, here: http://web.archive.org/web/20030622083635re_/www.il2center.com/technika/

There are pieces missing. Also, as someone who's new to the sim, I don't know how much of this material has been duplicated on other sites. For me, it's been useful; perhaps others will find it useful as well.

Very cool!

Thanks for posting. I only wish this could have been done for IL-2 Hanger. Lots of missions were lost when that one went down. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Thank you for this link.

I came into IL-2 during the summer of 2003, after Sturmovik Technika was gone, and this is the first time I've seen it's content. Some of the mission download links are dead, but the articles are an interesting read.

I want to thank you for this link. Not only have I been wondering if it were possible to find the Sturmovik Technika pages again, but it allowed me to find pages from another site I've been looking for the last few months.

dwso;
EXCELLENT work! Even in this less than complete/static state this site still rocks.

S! Sir.

That's a blast from the past. Sturmovik Technika was always my favorite Il2 site back in the day. I could not understand why such a well done site would have problems like it did keeping a host. It moved around before it disappeared. I still have the FMB guide I printed off thier site over two years ago. It was the best FMB guide I ever saw. This should be listed in sturmovik essentials for sure. S!
