Hi
I'm searching for RL data sheets (best USN tests, Nasa or similar) of late Corsairs, especially F4U-5, F4U-5N, AU-1, F4U-7. I hope for sea level speeds, gear ratio(maybe the same as with the -18W of 20:9??), manifold pressure, horse power etc.

thanks in advantage

Hi KIMURA

Here:

you can download, or you could, a few data pages from pilot's notes for a few variants, for free. You can certainly buy a DVD with films and manual(s?).

Good luck.

thanks for your efforts, but it seems Zeno's site is related to wartime Corsairs. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I know you can buy copies of the F4U-5 series pilot's manuals, I have one. The F4U-4 manual is also available. You can find both, in CD or printed copy, here. http://www.eflightmanuals.com/

Manuals for the AU-1 and F4U-7 might be harder to find as the number of these variants are far less than other variants of the Corsair and even fewer exsist today, so there is little need for reprinted manuals. I don't even know if the manual for the -7 was printed in English since that variant was built specifically for the French.
