A pretty lady indeed, what a shame she's belly landed and bent her wing. And don't those ugly things flying around her spoil the picture?

could the me262s ever fly such a close formation? given 20 sec spool time for engines (time between throttle movement and engine responce) and no air brake?

I would say - possible- yes, but far from typical. It is an art shot after all. If ever they got in trouble they could just bank away from each other.

the bigger the better

its the exact reason that the real artists dont show their work online at hi-resolution because its better for printing - the exact thing they dont want you or me to be doing with their work

i can point out to you days & days worth of plane art picture viewing to you Dunkelgrun , all at cr4ppy tiny resolution , & you have to complain at some of the very few examples of decent resolution ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Yes I do. There is no way that I can see the whole picture at once without resizing it, which loses the whole point of having it at a large resolution. Scrolling across images is bloody annoying. Also, like most of us, I have only an A4 printer, so I can't even print an image as large as I can view it on a 19" monitor.

It might be fine for a few of you, but for the rest of us... pffft. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

It's perfectly fine...in fact I would say it's very good...shame that you have the speed-bar and other text showing. You might 'clone' these out in a picture editng program, or turn off speed-bar before taking the screenshot...then you would have an excellent picture.

Also, don't forget that you can save a track and take screenshots from that. That way you can get rid of the in-flight messages! The track can also be played back at a greater resolution than it was recorded at (as well as with AA and AF turned on in your graphics card) for greater detail!

danjama
11-02-2005, 04:36 PM
yeah i coulda edited it out but i really couldnt be bothered i usually do with most of my shots, i just thought it looked good. I have AA and AF on anyway both 4x, my res is 1024*768 though. I took it kinda spur of the moment hence in being in game. Tried catchin it in the track but it just wasnt the same lol

Ruy,
A very quick way is to open the picture in Photoshop, then go to filters - artistic - poster edges.
