Has anyone navigated there boat around the globe? I other words, If I head either east or west to the edge of the map, does the boat show up on the opposite side like you went around the world or do you fall off the edge?

Press CTRL, ALT, DEL at the same time as fast as you can twice in a row to find the answer.

Stink, you are about as funny as a fart in a space suit. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Not as funny as farting in a Pringles potato chip can at a party and putting the lid back on quickly and leaving it at the snack table. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

That must suck to be in the space shuttle, someone lets one fly and the entire shuttle gets to enjoy it for the next 6 months.

Lets not bring the tone of the forums down toooo much gents with all the 'wind' jokes.

In answer to the guys question, You wouldnt have enough fuel to sail around the world. AND afaik only the area of the grid is sailable.

Any budding Christopher Colombuses out there LOL ??

If only the portions of the map with grids are sailable, then why is there an enemy port in india? Can we not go over there and harpoon a bathing elephant? Or will we run into a magical invisible submarine net if we try? I always wondered that but what if we put it on unlimited fuel and tried it? Im super curious now.

So what would actually happen if you sailed up to the limits of the map? Does the game give you a message?

Slightly off-topic, but I keep meaning to sail into the Mediterranean, over to the Balearic Islands (east of Spain), to see my what my favourite holiday beach on the southwest coast of Mallorca looks like in SH3. I know I won't see the beach or much else other than a lump of land, but it would be kinda nice to take my crew there for a nice break from 'work' http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I think I heard some people went around... Malaysia or somewhere around there and saw German U-boats in construction XP

well, theres a quick way to find out, just use the mission editor and put a sub at the edge of the map and sail in the direction where it ends http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
