I don't have one myself, however it is on my want list as well. Everything I have heard has been very good so far though. Check www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com) for reviews.

Nice choice. I have a BFG 6800GT and it runs great. I run @1024x768 AAx2Q, AF x4 quality and perfect settings.

Blackdeath track is avg 52fps

I am very happy and I am sure I will be even happier when we get our hands on PF.

Enjoy your new card.

hi guys,

Thanks for your reply, actually i just found out there a lot of brand which have make this card, for example: MSI, GALAXY, Leadtek, sparkle, sapphire, elsa and etc. The all have liesen built for the 6800 GT.

So i just wondering the new 6800 GT make by Galaxy, is it good.

Key Features of Geforce 6800 series

- Factory default GPU core clock to 370MHz, which is 20MHz higher than normal 350MHz
default clock.
- use 2.0 ns Hynix DDR which allows more than enough head-room for overclocking of
memory speed from 1000MHz and above.
- GLACIER cooling system, this smartly designed fan cooling is the great work from Arctic-Cooling
and GALAXY to adopt on NVIDIA GeForce 6800 solution, guaranteed superior
overclock ability on card, cool and quiet. ( Please check the following pages for detail )
- design in glacier cool appearance by integrating the same icy blue color tone on PCB, fan and

BFG overclocks their card to 370 also . you can buy it at frys for 379 bucks

great card but youll probably have to go to nvidia and download the latest drivers. i was getting booted from F.B. games with the drivers on the cd from bfg. you need the latest drivers. its easy though.

great card. i had to return mine as i had to do a brake job and get new rotors.......

I haven't got it yet, still waiting for a good bargain price.

MSI selling at S$879 = USD502
Elsa sellinf at S$800 = USD458

So i hope thay have price war, so can benefit the end user.

I also just received the BFG 6800GT, and it is an exceptional card. I decided to do a clean install of Windows XP to celebrate, so I am still in process of reloading FB+AEP. But, I would highly, highly recommend BFG cards, because they offer a completely hassle-free LIFETIME support for your card. I don't work for them, but I am an avid supporter.

Personally, I would not buy cards from brand-name mfrs that I don't recognize, and Galaxy is not one that I've heard of. EVGA, BFG, ASUS, PNY, Gigabyte would all be fine in my book. For what it's worth...

I have a 6800 GT from Pine XFX.
It has a one-slot cooler that covers the memory chips too, plus dual DVI.

Althouzgh its stock speed is only 350, it overclocked to 400 no problem.

I was not able to go beyong 1080 for memory, but that's not bad, is it?

The card delivers excellent image quality. you should absolutely, positively use the 66.31 drivers. dont waste your time trying the nVidia "official" ones!

I run maximum settings (really maximum http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ) at 1280 x 960 and get 42 fps average on black death

Good flying.

I really like the BFG 6800 GT. I Oc'd mine to 428/1.11 and it worked great, but I clocked it back to the standard 370/1.0. I found I can run 1280x960 without a problem but it is easier to spot objects far away at 1024x768. I am running the beta 66.31 drivers and not having any issues. If you dont want to try a beta driver get the 61.77 right from nvidia.

Swambast, I agree with you about the 24/7 free suport, how can you beat that? Another member of the 9th just picked up the same card as well and he loves it. I think our love for this card will grow when we see PF on perfect settings.

9th spitin

Great overclocks! I wish I had this big cooler!
As to driver versions:
I just moved from 61.77 to 66.31. The 61.77 had a bug that prevented me from loading certain missions (Finland map).
I also got a huge performance boost (+ 25-30%), probably explained by bad performance of the 61.77 on my system.
So 66.31 is really a good choice...

Yea, I think I am going to stick with the 66.31 until they get something better. What program are you using for your OC? I am using coolbits, all it does is opens up some of the nvidia options that nvidia hides from us.
