I think it's just a big zoom lens.

The first photo in the series gives a more realistic impression of the distance between the aircraft.

Shush. How's one going to bamboozle and astonish the natives if you go around saying things like that? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Not so fast. Maybe it was not photoshopped. Read the ENTIRE link. It may be legit. Seems it was done as part of a photo SHOOT (not shop).

I would never have believed it.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Somehow this reminds me of the final scene of Jaws, where the shark has destroyed the boat and is laying on the rear deck trying to get the scientist http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Cool pic and link. I hope the Herc crew did an extra careful FOD check beforehand, and the photographer had everything secured down. Not a good time to do an "oops" with a lens cover.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

According to another forum the video shot in that sequence was used for some of the non-cgi closeup shots in this Eurofighter promo vid (very cheesy, but quite fun).

Cheesy (http://www.defencetalk.com/military_videos/air_force_videos/eurofighter_typhoon_nothing_comes_close_20061002.p hp)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Maybe the same pilot is responsible for this near-disaster:-

Tip: listen for the Oooohs! You get that awful feeling of impending doom. Apparently the pilot's commanding officer was not impressed.
