Look through the readme for AEP or 2.04 (can't remember off hand which one included the I-185s).

In the readme, you will find out about the two I-185 versions and why they were included in the game.

Like the I-185s, a handful of other pre-production prototypes, like the MiG-3U we have, as well as a radial-engined MiG-3, were sent to the same front for combat testing. I don't remember how much combat any of those planes actually saw there, but the reason you don't hear or see much of the I-185 from the community is because it suffers from "didn't see combat" syndrome.

You're in for a laugh when you read the I-185's disadvantages in the readme. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

It's not funny, Greenhorn! That is an extremely uncomfortable throttle handle! Even during the brief combat testing period of the I-185, the incidence of blisters among VVS pilots skyrocketed. They weren't regular blisters, either. These were proper Delta-blisters.

The I-185 is a lovely bird, though, and the cockpit is a work of art. Do mind the throttle.

Not true. I predict here we will see much about Do~335 from the community even if it "didn't see combat." Do~335 seems immune to the Whining that Gibbage found with his Go~229 and YP~80.

Would make a fascinating flight simmer psycho study.
