Just wondering. We all here are obviously avaiation ethusiates and many probably real life pilots as well. So for sake of certainy we all have flown something in some way at some time.

Well, when your not flying. (Imagine that) - What do you roll on during the day?

Anything, let us know, Photos included if possible. I dont care what it is, whether its a car, motocycle, push-bike, skate-board, even a shopping cart. Wheels are wheels mate; what are yours?

---

I'll start. Nothing fancy but I own a 1989 Audi 100. It is currently in the process of engine-replacement so is more or less an ornament at present.

I also own a Suzuki GN-250 motocycle though are now seeking something around the lines of a GSX600F Katana or SV650sk5 (or something similiar). I cant afford either yet, and wont be until about feb-mar next year so really, just researching options at the moment.

At present the 250 will do. I did own a Kawasaki 1979 Z400B. Total classic in my opinion but I had to down grade so I could legally get my motocycle licence.

2004 Mini Cooper, new then.
It is my first car as well.
I got it as a 17 year old.
Yes, I know, I'm spoiled as all hell. But, trust me, the amount of fun I missed by prooving that I could handle the respnsibility almost makes up for it. And Now my parents have extended their ownership of me into my 20's, until I can pay them back.

Between my wife and myself we have in order oldest to newest:

1959 Austin Healy Sprite Mk1 (Bugeye)
1970 Mustang, 302 fastback
1977 Ford 'half ton (my work truck)
1999 Camaro 3800 V6
2003 Cadillac CTS

I know one for each foot with a little left over but heck things dont rust in Northern California.

I have a Mk 1 1993 MX-5 - lovely little thing and the most fun car I've ever had (and I've had some nice ones). My girlfriend loves it too. Neither of us is a hairdresser.

And a Trek 1000, which I really like though would love a decent top end carbon fibre jobby but funds just don't permit.

Thanks http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I know the feeling. I was the same way during the warranty period, but mostly because I was low on cash. lol

I've only got SubFrame Connectors on right now. But have plans for a set of suspension upgrades by next summer.

Just about a year and a half left before the
payments are done. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Would be nice if there were some road courses around my way. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Guess I need to look into using accumulated vacation for some road trips.

They only sold 3000 NISSAN PATROLS in the USA between 1963-1969. Only about 400 of them still on the road in the USA.. But they sold well in AU and South America well into the late 70s early 80s. After I get this one restored Im going to move onto my 1972 Datsun 240Z.

On that note, so did Roy Rogers and Motor Trend. In 1964 they did a side by side comparsion between the NISSAN PATROL, TOY LC, LAND ROVER, JEEP, IH and the PATROL was voted the best of them all! Problem was back in the 60s the PATROL was about $500 more than the TOY and most people in the USA look at them as desposable vehicals.. So they went the cheap route and bought the TOY LC! Thus the TOY LC got a foot hold that the NISSAN PATROL never recoved from.. In the USA.

I wanted the Patrol over the FJ40 and I was ready to buy it,'til my father found all the floorpan rust.
I wish I still had that 'cruiser now.
I know what you mean about the early Broncs,I prefer that bodystyle too-better on inclines/declines;but,it works out for me,since I need the space for electronics.
