For me, the main attraction of the Animus edition is the encyclopedia really... But I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on what would be inside? Is it just a collection of stuff we know, or is there some new information, or exclusive information on AC3?
Also, how long is it? And is it any different to the online encyclopedia?

At the very least it's a collection of all (significant) released information at the time of the ACR release (which of course included the info from ACR and Embers).

They outsourced the writing so i doubt we'll see anything new, I'm guessing it has nothing that a fan who has a thorough knowledge of the series doesn't know already (after playing ACR and watching embers anyway). I wouldn't expect any spoilers for AC3 and beyond. It'll have nice pictures though.

I have a question about the Encyclopedia. I pre-ordered Animus Edition and it will have the Black edition, and it won't have the Cartes Blanches, and my question is: What is so special about the Cartes Blanches?

The carte blanches are the artwork that fans originally contributed back when the encyclopedia was an artbook.

Most of the stuff from the Encyclopedia will be on the AC:Wiki when it comes out anyway, lol.

In the Encyclopedia you will find things you find in an Encyclopedia. If you found one on your shelf, you'd find definitions, pictures, facts, that sort of thing. Except the AC one will be damned epic.

Also is true that the Black Edition Encyclopedia will be an hardcover while the White Edition will be a softcover?

Also it sucks that the White Edition Encyclopedia is only a softcover while the Black Ed. is a hardcover. So I need to be careful not to rip the cover or put a crease in it.

Ah I see! alright!

Hey fellow Canadians (and just maybe even Americans) my Canadian informant ofm ine show me this link to get the Assasisn's creed encyclopedia white edition for 33.15 CAD. (http://www.amazon.ca/ASSASSINS-CREED-ENCYCLOPEDIA-ENGLISH-N/dp/2924006031/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319609422&sr=8-1)

If you're american and have a US amazon account, you can login to amazon.ca and you can buy this and have it sent it to you. although with ship and handle it will be around $40 USD.

I think I just may do this! I really want this book!

Ah yes and it's duet o release november 7 so if you from US it aprroximately would arrive between Nov 15-20 I believe (8-10day ship)

I'm hoping that Amazon will have it on their U.S. website or that when someone lists it on ebay that they don't jack up the price to where it would just be cost effective to get it from Ubiworkshop.
