Can anyone help, seeing a photo recently of a friends father serving in Northen Europe 1944-45 as a British army militery policeman, the photo shows him wearing a arm/shoulder flash which depicts a black bull insignia, I would say that this could be a divisional marking to whom he must have been attached, the only reference I have found is on a Osprey book cover showing a soldier displaying the same patch but that was all. The closest match i have found is an insignia showing only a bulls head which turned out to be the 79th British armoured brigade. My friend is putting together a history of his fathers wartime sevice, I would appreciate if someone could help. Cheers. Jeff Morgan Lloyd
