Dude wanted to be polite and you want to lock the thread? What do you do when someone's _rude_ then - nuke his hometown?

Err - it's not the first time a first posting is about that specific unit. I smell spam.

sometimes a feller'l dip a real fancy hook in this pond...one with feathers and a tail that 'swims' and its all shiny and eye catching and whatnot...x_crash_x is a prime eggsample...

Then some people come along and try to copy those fellers' success with an ol' bent nail on a string...

its kinda sad.

No fish here.. just a few helpfull Redtails more than willing to answer any questions about one of the most spectacular American units in WW2. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Fighting a war on the inside and the outside... and rising to the occasion with a grace, style, professionalism and kick@ss ferocity that still inspires any who are interested in those things to this day. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

If you want to know more about the Redtails hit the link in my sig or the picture.

Tuskegee airmen- absolute legends!
How those guys managed to put up with the ignorance surrounding them and perform with such professionalism and dignity is almost beyond belief.
I recall reading the story of the guy who sank a destroyer using only the cannon in his p47. I may have the facts wrong but it seemed to have been a d*mned fine achievement. (it was in short article in a journal i read about 30years ago, it had B/W pictures from his gun camera. His aim seemed extraordinary, there were hardly any misses evident around the ship)
