I wanted to clean all the junk off my system, so I did a format. When I went to install 46 my DVD player can't read it. I'm always careful with my CD's, but I think the two CD's together put a scratch on it. The other DVD's play fine.

Does anybody have a way to remove the scratch, or at least get it to the point it can be read? I hate to go back to the FB AE PF blah blah dance.

A simple trick is to clean in with toothpast.... and rince it off with water...
(use a type with no abrasive... it as to be smooth to the touch)

Work great with CDs to...

Toothpaste didn't work, but the DVD has a nice minty smell now.

Regrets, Buzz. The multi-disk dance sucks. I got rid of mine without regret.

Another reason to make an image and put it on the hard drive and another reason to make a back up copy. If I could only email you a large file.

Contact Ubisoft. I've heard of people mailing in wrecked (broken in half) discs and getting replacements.
