...I just bought a CH Products Throttle and Fighterstick USB.

I feel a twinge of buyers remorse. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif I rationalized it by telling myself this is one of the few hobbies I really really enjoy. I'll have them for years. And with the new joystick settings from 4.06 I'm golden.

So now I'll have the throttle and flightstick to go with my CH Peddles.

My X 45 has been spiking a lot and making it difficult to control anything effectively.

I might even get a post from Debbie thanking me for my purchase on the forum. (probably not.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif LOL)

Better you than me, sucka! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Actually, I'm still contemplating a TiR purchase. I've just grown so comfortable using the mouse...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

re Track IR: C'mon in the water's fine!!!!!

Check out GoGamer.com

I don't know if Jason's still running the special for Track IR 4, but you'll find TrIR to be such an immersive device that you'll wonder how you got along with out it.

You won't have that remorse any more once you hook it up and fly a bit with them...and are still flying with them 5 years from now.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

No remorse for you. Have had a pro throttle/combatstick and pro rudder usb setup for several years now. Also have two Cougar Hotas setups that are now in the back of a closet until I get them modded properly. CH gear is simply the best right out of the box and will last you a long time. Still amazed, by the way, that Thrustmaster has not started their own upscale line of upgraded/modded Cougars. I would rather pay $700 for a finished quality product than $200 for a paper weight (got the second Cougar used of Ebay for spare parts lol)

You should not be suffering remorse, the CH stuff is high quality and will last for years. Look at this way, you spent a lot of money once, but you won't be spending any more for a long time. It's an investment into your future happiness.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
