ok, this competition is back on http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This competition is for a long overdue thank you to the man responsible for allowing many of us enjoy creating aviation images. The winning entry will be professionally printed, framed and will be sent to the Oleg for him to, hopefully, stick on a wall somewhere.

The prize is the honour of producing the picture to be sent.

RULES:

1 - Shots only from any of the IL2 series of games, no photo elements anywhere in the picture. You can composite from other screenshots but they must be from IL2.

2 - No text on pictures, any messages etc will feature in the border of the frame.

3 - Pictures can be edited as you like other than mentioned above.

4 - I expect most if not all members of staff will enter so it will be judged by professional traditional and digital aviation artists who I will contact. These artists will remain anonymous, but I assure you fair play. I will be a judge also.

As the winning entry will be printed please keep hold of the full sized version to be used if required.

All entrants are invited to send me a scan of their signature which will feature on the border of the picture. If there is enough room your name will be printed under your signature for identification (assuming you have a signature like mine!) ONLY MEMBERS ENTERING A SHOT QUALIFY FOR THIS.

Please save sending your signatures until the competition closes. I will let you know when I am ready to recieve them.

The competition closes 15th August 2005

Post your entries here (http://www.screenshotart.com/index.php?showtopic=8249&s=)

Best of luck all http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What exactly is meant by "photo elements"

I assume that means nothing can be added to the shot using a picture of real objects/scenes?
