I've run into some problems when trying to change skins in "Bf-110 JaVa.." campaigne.
The "Aircraft Customization" page/meny will not open.

Odd...trying posting in the Community Help forum or maybe in the Mission Builder's forum.

Is it maybe just taking a long time to open?

Is this also impossible with other aircraft, or only the Bf-110.

Open DGen folder (path: ...\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\DGen) and select/open appropriate
map file with Notepad and add skin by typing exact skin name with .bmp (bitmap) extension next
to desired plane. Skin must be in appropriate aircraft folder. See below;

* Assigning custom skin to a specific squadron
** Assigning custom skin, game wont show markings on this one
*** Assigning both summer and winter new custom skins
**** Assigning custom skin to all planes on specific map

Skin names must not contain spaces.
Skin names in \PaintSchemes\Skins\... must match to those in .DB files.

**Further explanation**
If you want that game doesn't display markings on your custom Ai skin (crosses, stars, numbers...
http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ), add letter $ in front of your skin name.
For instance;
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">14 LA_5F $La5F_Green43.bmp</pre>
...and skin will be displayed without any markings. But in this case it is wise that your custom
skin already contains national markings.
Please take note that you can not turn off squadron insignia (small emblems).
