Where is it? I found something like coolant temp gauge but seem it has nothing to do with the engine temp. Now I use a stopwatch to prevent engine failure, I know the engine can hold on for 5 minutes of overheat.... not very realistic but it is the only way I can do http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The gauge you are looking for is just to the right of the coolant temp gauge. Its the engine gauge cluster with engine temp in an arc on the top. It also had oil pressure and something else (can't remember off the top of my head) beneath the engine temp.

Just remembered, there should be a clock in the cockpit. I believe its just to the left of the gunsight.

gauge to the right of the coolant temp gauge in P-51D is the tachometer

Coolant temp gauge shows read whenever I overheat the Mustang. very occasionally I will see that the gauge isn't working, not due to enemy action. maybe a bug? Dunno, but 9 times out of ten it works, and the 'engine overheat' message comes on when I am in the red zone

Gauge just above coolant temp gauge is manifold pressure, Immediately to the left of that is Suction gauge.

Clock is to left of red warning tag

Just under the tach is the "Engine Gage Unit" according to my F-51D Pilot Training manual. Will investigate
