I have a rather odd problem. The Japanese radio chatter doesn't play in the campaign. It does play in quick missions, though. Any help would be appreciated, flying in silence is not fun at all.

I take it that you play early IJA or IJN campaign?
This is a historical feature of PF. Oftne radio equipment was removed from Japaneese fighters early in the war to reduce weight, thus gaining and advantage in performance. You'll also not be able to issue orders to wingmen. And just wait till you've gotten your wing shot off and try to bail out, you're in for a nasty surprise http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Oh, I see. I am indeed playing an early IJN campaign. Thanks very much! It's pretty common to mistake features for bugs when working with Windows but it's actually the first time it's happened to me when dealing with a game.
