I did yesterday and there isn't much changed since the previous games http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif not that it's bad but it's getting kinda boring to do the same thing all over again, i play online but i'd like to play some awesome story missions..
What do you guys do ?

Join a squad, or learn the Full Mission Builder, or download some missions from M4T or download campaigns from M4T http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well, where to start...
If you are itnerested in a CO-OP campaign styled online experience you could check out JG53 at www.iijg53.com (http://www.iijg53.com)

If yo uare looking for more Single player oreintated fun there are a few places to look:

For dynamic offline campaigns there is Lowengrins DCG which enables you to setup a campaign as you want it and tweak it as yo usee fit, that is found at www.lowengrin.com (http://www.lowengrin.com) - you will also find a load of user made campaigns for download there as well.

You can also check out the downloads sections at www.mission4today.com (http://www.mission4today.com) - which caters for all your skin and mission needs.

If you are looking to add a bit more spice to IL2 then you could look at the mods, due to UBI rules I can't link you to them but if you google all aircraft arcade you will find it - and the mods over there are simply mind blowing! Ai, new aircraft, new maps, new effects - all great stuff to bring IL2 46 upto modern standards!

I hope thta gives you some food for thought!
Good Luck!

I fly online only and simply trying to stay alive is as thrilling for me now as it was 5 years ago.

This is what I do....I (and alot of other guys) get off on making cmpns either re-enacting history, or making alternate history, as this project of mine is doing and hopefully will be done in a few more weeks (afer 19 mos).

I suggest looking thru the FMB forum and checking out some of the stuff on there, including a discussion of favorite cmpns on the first page. The mods have even added that much more and make this a whole new sim.

Welcome Azamato. I noticed you were pretty active on the co-op servers which is a good place to start -if you like objective-oriented missions- before you get your head blown off a zillions time on the dogfight servers http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

I don't think you'll find IL2 1946 very boring once you find your way to the various missions and campaigns on mission4today and other download sites. Besides, there are so many planes that it will take quite some time to fly them all properly!
