Yesterday, I went skeet shooting for the 1st time in a few years. **** if I don't lead the target too much now!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Targets coming at me or away from me no problem.

I blame all flight sim games!!! Planes are much too fast! Let's slow them down to clay pigeon speed! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I shot competitively in the Texas circuit for a few years back in the mid 80's (sheesh, showing my age there!). I think the skills learned from shooting Trap & Skeet help aerial gunnery immensely.

Ha...You guys shoot too, cool. I was out hand throwing them the other day in a snow storm. When the wind hits those clays they turn like a Zero. Makes for some fun shooting though. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That was one of the ways they used to train gunners in WWII.

They even went as far as making them stand in a moving truck and shoot at clays and stationary targets too.

Sound like an awful lot of fun to me.

Never competed at shotgunning but I have done my share of it anyways. Expecially when I was a teenager and Dad had all that reloading stuff laying around. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

I've shot a few of them clay pigeons, but I never figured out how to cook one so that it didn't taste so darn gritty

I once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

Strangely my Trap/skeet and regular rifle shooting is topnotch but always in a Flightsim or a Fps i shoot like Sh1t,the only games i can hit something in is Op flashpoint,Ghost recon,Call of duty series and battlefield series because of the somewhat real bulletphysics.
Other ways its all over the place... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Greetings, nice to see some other shotgunner's here. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I have been shooting for about 30yrs now. Started out with hand throwers then shot skeet for years and then moved on to sporting clays(the best IMO). Been shooting sporting now for about 12yrs in fact I love it so much that my dad and I built are own private range. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
