Hey you F4U dudes!!!! Whats the F4U like in the new 1946 release compared with 4.0x?

In other discussions there are issues with the guns, nose wobble and a few other things. Has this been improved in "1946"? If so, I will go buy it.

What ya think?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Did I mention we need the "Slot" map for us PTO flyers?

Others who have played 1946 have confirmed that the USN gun recoil wobble problem is no more.

Supposedly the new joystick routine has made all the aircraft more stable and precise in their response to control inputs, reducing the wobbles in planes such as the F4U and P-51, though that report has not yet been completely confirmed to my knowledge.

Just tried to fly a bit with F4U-D and the wobbles are there, no more http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Absolutely beautiful.

great news. I tested the Cors @SL topspeed only in 1946 to compared with new Japanese a/c like the N1K2-Ja and J2M5. Only the latter is a touch faster at SL.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Try it with the F4U-1A, I found the the D (with cannons) to be much more stable in 4.06 than the ones with 6 .50's... try the 1A and report back, OK&gt;?

The cannon armed F4U-1C does not yaw as bad as the machine gun armed Corsairs in 4.04m. Someone needs to do a comparison of the machine gun armed Corsairs only. And it seems to me that the yaw during firing is worse at slower air speed in 4.04m<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
