Hi all,
The new water effects are outstanding, it really looks like the pacafic ocean.
What technique is used? Is it Pixel Shaders 2.0?
Are this effects visible in OpenGL as well as Direct3D?
Will it be faster than actual effects visible on perfect settings turned to on?
The 1 million dollar questions : Which graphic card is used for the screenshots? Will PF be optimized for a kind of graphic board?
Thank you Oleg and others engineers from 1C for your great job.

The presentation at E3 with the fancy new water type was running a GeForce FX6800 which was having its own trouble keeping upto the detail level of the water (and everything else).

So I'll betcha it'll be much more intensive than even Perfect mode is now. Likely only in OpenGL mode (FB is natively programmed for OpenGL).
