Did they really call the phantom the "rhino". That is what we call my current ride the FA-18E/F Super Hornet.

You guys call the Super Hornet the Rhino? Whenever I see/think of a Hornet I think of something petite, not something big and beefy - that is reserved for the F-15 or the F-14. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

What do you guys call the F-16? Any other ineteresting nicknames? (I can keep asking questions. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

Viper is it for the F-16. I have never flown it personally, but know a lot of folks who have. I have never once heard it reffered to as a Falcon. The hornet charlies (or legacy hornets as they are called now) never really had a nicname that stuck. Everyone refers to them as hornets.
