When you are looking at the icons and you see the range given as say, '.45' what does that mean?

Is it .45 kilometers as in 450 meters?

Sorry - couldn't find the answer in my forum searches.

Not a dumb question either. There is no such thing as a dumb question if you do not know the answer.

Keep in mind also that if your convergence is set to say..... 300m and you are firing at icon distance of say.... .65 you are very unlikely to hit anything.

Thanks folks! I'm currently set at 450m convergence, but trying to close to much shorter range before firing. But if I'm dead on my target's 6, I'll still fire at .45 because I've found that's a pretty high-percentage shot.
