My computer and video card are about 3 years old, and I notice when I try to use the new clouds , water, trees etc I notice no difference. but in some of the screen shots posted it all looks pretty good,, So I am going to update to a new pentium 4 3.4GHz processor and mother board, also more memory ,, but I dont want to make a mistake on the new video card..I would appeciate a suggestion on a card that runs IL2 PF with the new effects ...

Thanks Much

The 7800GTX is currently top of the line, but the 7800GT is only slightly behind in performance. Considering if you look around you can get a 7800GT for around $300 with rebates now, that is the card to get. Great performance and great price.

Depends what you want ot spend.

The Radeon X800GT 256mb is only 110 and is a great card for the price. Faster thant he 6600GT.
