Congratulations Ubisoft! It seems from your press release that somebody has at last realised that the Pacific/Far East air war wasn't just a US-Japanese thing. From what you say we can look forward to Seafires (British Pacific Fleet?) and Beaufighters, plus other British aircraft. Also an Australian representation too! I hope you are going to include the airwar over Burma, it lasted from Dec 1941 until Aug 1945 continously. Whereas some of the Pacific battles only lasted a few days or weeks at most, although this in no way detracts from their importance - its just a matter of balance. I'm afraid most of the American games producers tend to overlook Burma and the Far East. I look forward to flying a Buffalo? or Hurricane? over Singapore. Guess the Japanese Army Airforce will get more coverage in this one too. Nice to be able to operate bombers as well. Can't wait for release date! I can feel a breath of fresh air!

OOoo, Malaya? Good then I can bomb the PoW to the bottom of the ocean. When the British were first bombed by the Japanese some of them thought that German pilots were flying the aircraft. Hehehe, also thought the Japanese couldn't fly at night. Still, I would like to see the CBI area in the game.

I don't own many flight simulators, but I don't even know of one that has put any effort into Burma... For me, just give me Burma, New Guinea, the Solomons and maybe a late war Okinawa/Iwo Jima and I'd be satisfied....

There were so many kinds of aircraft in the CBI over the years... I for one would be looking for Meshsmoother's P-51A for that areana... that would be too cool http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
