Ok so spring is in the air and I am having yet another slow day at the farm. So I was kinda wondering which games are going to be responsible for your monitor tan?

The new ghost recon looks kinda tempting to me. But games this year seem to have gotten stuck in that FPS rutt yet again. So with the exception of our beloved flight sim

What floats your boat for 2006?

I just bought "Red Orchestra" last weak". Seems like a fun game so far. Now that I have cable, I wouldn't mind downloading Americas Army again.

Indeed, but I was more curious about the type of games that people from this forum in particular are interested in playing.

Mostly because these are the people that tend to be more representative of my own online/offline peer group and to some extent have similar taste.

However I guess if I just want to compile a 'shopping list' of what is out then gamespot and similar would be great.

Honest I was just making conversation realy

When I'm not flyin FB, SHIII takes my other game time with a splash of Lanc flying on FS2004 & a dribble of COD2.

I'm looking forward to Operation Flashpoint2 & fingers crossed Wartime Command. BOB if it's released this year(MMhhh!)

Things I'm not looking forward to this year is if BOB is released. I'm going to have to sell my soul to get a new rig. It's IL2 all over again & once more I've fallen for another high maintenance lady.I can see my future unfolding infront of my eye's as I type this. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

Rgr that Mads I feel your pain. I also feel that a new rig is going to become quite a pressing need with the advent of BOB.

Perhaps games are not such a big priority this year so much as new hardware?

That said I had forgotten about Flashpoint2 that did look quite promising.

If you ever bought the CFS 3 Coaster Set, download Over Flanders Fields. It's a nice little diversion, while waiting for BoB.

well between now and Bob - there will be the three addon c/d's for his game + the GT WWI mod hopefully this summer?...so there will be plenty to do before I need a new rig....aside from that, Oblivion and Red Orchestra both look like fun.

I'll be enjoying some WW 1 combat in OFF with my Fokker DR1 Triplane with two Spandau MGs

I've still got a lot of work/play to do to get my money's worth out of SH3 and my partner's son recently gave me his copy of Morrowind. What little gaming time I have after IL2 will mostly be taken up by those two, with maybe a "blast from the past" sojourn in the Thief series and the Myst series.

I haven't played CoD2 for a while. Is the third party map editor out yet for modding maps? Some of those CoD1 maps people were making were just gorgeous. CoD2 maps'll be even better.

Re-discoverd this one whilst poking around the trainz site. And I think (being an oldish school mecha nut) I will give it a peek when i get home from work

Oblivion...which is infernally addictive and utterly vast, great to look at and play (at least as the RPG noob that I am). Is there a way out, that's all I'm worried about.

I'm housesitting for some relatives for the next few days so hope I can resurrect my social life.

Any of you have the "Command&Conquer The First Decade DVD"?

I bought that about three weeks ago - what a trip to the past.

If you like Command and Conqueur games, the Act Of War series is similar and some some would say better.

Act Of War - Direct Action

and the addon on pack which came out this week.

SWAT 4 and the addon pack are OK but a little hard. I donmt like how you have to warn the terrorists that you are there before you can shoot. Its like saying 'hi! I am here! shoot me first!'

Got Oblivion, but still not tried it yet.

Blazing Angels I completed in 2 nights, some of it is OK. If you liked Heroes of the Pacific you will like BA.
