Hi all,

There I was flying at ground level searching for a target..and from nowhere an enemy flew head-on towards me at the last moment.

He was so close as he passed above me that I ducked down in my chair!

My head was underneath the computer table almost!

I sat up and checked that nobody in real life had seen me... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

My name is Gordon Brown and I have saved the world BTW!

Full credit to Oleg for this IMHO!

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

LOL! I did that yesterday while on UKDed2, someone buzzing right over me during a particularly nasty dogfight. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've done the same thing. Actually, most of my squad mates have done it too.

haha I've done things like that along with shouting 'WOAH!' when I somehow manaage to fly within a few centimetres of an Me-323.
My brother walked into the room once and I spun the mouse round to try and see him....

This happens to me all the time. Wish I had TrackIR because then when I actually peered into the screen to look for targets I'd actually make a difference in visibility.

used to fly with high volume.

many times I was flying with concentration and BANG! (plane hit).

the noise of the plane being hit scare me as hell and make I take off as a rocket from the chair. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Whenever I watch an in-cockpit movie on you tube, I constantly try to turn my head to look around

Haha, yeah. Haven't even used TrackIR in a long time (Hat + headset = bulky... Plus, it's a little... Awkward when people are around http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif Hoping sometime soon to acquire the headset attachment), and I still do it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

You mean stupid things like staying up till 5 AM flying and then explaining to your wife that your 2nd wife kept you up that long? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Seriously though, with the TrackIR I am weaving and bobbing around in my chair, and when something gets that close, it's natural to try and duck it.

That must have been quite a site though with you hitting the deck and all http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
