View Full Version : OT: If you could describe yourself as a plane, what would you be?

When answering this question, please (not to offend) take into account your weight, realiablity, and striking power (It could be in a lot of fields).

I'd have to say if I was a plane, I'd either be a BF-110, an A-10, A SU-25, or maybe on the outside a F-4 Phantom or a RAF Mosquito.

I would like to describe myself as a Spitfire, but unfortunately i have neither the sleek lines or speed!!

So, i would say i am a Bf109G.

I have bulging lines (of muscle of course), good acceleration and deceleration, and a big cannon http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I also have a great talent at instilling fear into my foe http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

I'd like to say innovative, fast and packing a mean punch, call me Whirwind. But I'm a great beleiver in honesty.

So....was quite good a few years ago, didn't keep up with the times, showing my age, nobody's scared of me anymore....guess I'd be a Bf109. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Interesting choices to say the least. I chose tankbusters because im quite the stocky guy (not really, but I am quite stocky (or used to be)).

P-51B.

Actually, it's because I can relate to the high speed (running), I have long range because I'm a distance runner, the relative offensive anemia of the 4x.50 cals represents my lack of hitting power compared to "big guys" because I focus my build on lean and tone muscle, not bulk. Also, chicks dig me because I win wars.

I would choose a Corsair (big, fast and just a little bit bent), but my wife would probably call me a Super Guppy.

No doubt the P-39Q-1.

the aircraft was INNOVATIVE and UNCONVENTIONAL with the engine behind the cockpit and featured a nosewheel.

the P-39 was UNSTABLE - it stalled and spun easily; I guess "occasionally leaving the flight envelope" can be applied to me, too.

it packed a "MEAN PUNCH" - the 37mm cannon, if applied at the right time in the right place, is a "one shot - one kill weapon", just ask those that have stepped on my toes one time too many.

FUTURISTIC DESIGN - I, much like the P-39, am always way ahead of my time, like Right Said Fred said: "I'm too sexy for my shirt".

One of the above answers is in humor.

Kind of ordinary looking and definitely not a glamour machine, but from first acquaintance, it's obvious I'm gonna be a rugged and dependable true performer, who'll be there when needed. Honest. No nonsense offered and none tolerated. What you see is what you get.

Also, I get badmouthed a bit inaccurately by those who tend to be gullible and oversimplify, but i pack a punch in the right hands and in my older yrs (a pair of 20mm replacing 30 cal popguns)...so beware silly morons....i can be pretty lethal in my old age...just not too bright at times. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

hmm,

well some people i know might tell you turds dont fly. =))

Actaully i'm probably somewhere between a Corsair and P-47 Razorback. I'm tough, and fast when i have the momentum, and sometimes its hard for me to slow down. I dont turn well, and im not easily swayed, but if im pointed in the right direction then i can be quite successful.
i find it awkward to talk about myself like this, but what ever i like planes.

cheers.
