Here's some food for thought... Do you think Oleg would've released 1.2 by now if the 1.2 beta was never leaked? I certainly would think so

So it would have been released unfinished and buggy, with no chance of another patch until next year. Wow, that would have been great!

Ah, well I'd of thought if it would be released already, Oleg' and the gang would fix out the bugs and release a 1.2b with bugfixes; because to me it seems that with the beta being leaked, they've just decided to hold on back the release date and fix the bugs now. Who knows. =)

It will be unfinished and buggy. The only difference is when we official get to start whining about it.

I'm hoping the bugs will be sorted out, but I'm afraid you'll be right.

I think that the 1.2 were to be delayed anyway. They needed someone to let a hand with the testing, and as they didn't want to confess they still had not finished all the test on themselves, they simply let the beta to leak... and opened their ears... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

If anything, I think they leak probably pushed up the new patch release. If there was a past date for its release that never occurred, I didn't hear about it.

Hmmm... - speculation - I dunno. Just hope they haven't rushed it due to the leak...

There will always be bugs. Even in much simpler
software there are bugs, and it takes more software
development time to remove the bugs than it is possible
to give IL2/FB and still make it commercially viable.
It's just a case of whether or not the level of bugs
are such that we can cope with it or not.

So.... when do you think for 1.2 Final? 2 weeks?

Monday is the last day for bug submissions so it can't be too long I guess (yeah, famous last words I know /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif )

You can't submit a bug report on a patch beta that wasn't fully released. I still don't know anyone who has RC_02.

As far as the leak delaying anything? No. Why would it? The dev team is doing their work regardless of what anyone is flying online.
