I had tried the latest, but got best results with the ones that came on the disc (9800XT 256)

heres what it says in the system menu
driver version 6.14.10.6378

That's what I came up with from a search on ATI site using the number you listed. Interesting that the number that they show is not exactly the same thow. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I have a 9800 pro, the best drivers are cat 4.1 or 4.9,the last cat 4.10 are worst.

I agree with you. I was happier with the 4.1's
However I got this game called COD and my hot rod PC (thanks Magnum PC) was locking up five minute or less into the game!!
So...in order to play BOTH games without having to change drivers all the time was to settle on this driver set....you think UBI is lame when it comes to listening to the masses, try Activision for the coma-enabled support team.
They said "COD was optimized for 3.7 cats"
End of story....pfffft
well, at least its not terrible for AcesFB

Tried 4.10 but too many issues with it right now, at least for my system and 9700TX card. Upgraded from 4.8 to 4.9 and all my games seem to be running fine.
