There is a three page story about this Airacobra on the latest issue of Aeroplane Monthly(April 2005).The photo you posted is from that article.

To sum it briefly:
It was recovered last summer from a lake Mart-Yarv in Northern Russia(Petsamo region).
It was lost on November 19th 1944.Broke from a formation for unknown reason and made a forced landing on thin ice.The pilot was propably knocked out because he did not try to escape from his sinking plane.

Pilot Lt Ivan Ivanovich Baranovsky

It is now in England and for sale.

There is a lot more information on that Aeroplane Monthly magazine.
